I think NT has TWAIN built in. I'm not sure, but I recently bought a HP 4P,
and used the software provided on their FTP site (try www.hp.com, or
something similar, I don't remember exactly), and it works perfectly.
HP techsupport told me however that they do not support NT officially. But
try and download the file SJ120EN.EXE, if your scanner is a HP. It works
with Painter for me, but Photoshop doesn't recognise my scanner.
